The Franklin House is one of the oldest homes in Port Elgin, built in 1874. The Franklin House was previously known for 40-50 years as the Elgin Lodge and then in 1996 opened as a Bed & Breakfast.

The beautiful grounds and patio are an ideal setting for small weddings or family reunions. The Franklin House is a very short walk to Port Elgin's sandy beach and the marina. Children 12 and older welcome.

The Franklin House offers two good sized private parking lots located on the property for your convenience.

offers 12 beautiful air conditioned rooms with varying accomodations (private baths available) Available on a daily and weekly basis.

The Carriage House Carriage House:
2 separate units located on the grounds adjacent to the main house. Each unit is air conditioned with full bathroom, kitchen and sitting area with TV. Available for weekly and long term rentals.
